ACQUAVITAE Spa is a wellness centre located in Camino Monferrato, in the province of Alessandria, in the heart of Piedmont. The wellness centre is housed in spaces that once served as the estate’s original winemaking cellars, approximately 80 metres from the reception. Here, Piedmont’s winemaking heritage meets relaxation: old wine presses have been transformed into hydromassage areas, a neck massage waterfall has been created from former cellar equipment, and an ancient well remains visible alongside centuries-old wooden beams and original limestone walls.
The main room is dominated by a large fireplace, lit during the winter months to create a particularly warm and inviting atmosphere. The other areas unfold through a series of smaller, intimate rooms, creating a secluded and truly unique wellness journey.

Among the most popular treatments at our spa in Piedmont is wine therapy, inspired by the beneficial properties of grapes and polyphenols, which are known for helping to counteract free radicals and the signs of skin ageing.
Our “Wine Bath” takes place in a large hydromassage tub inherited from the property’s former winemaking activity. Wine, yeasts and active grape extracts are added to the water to create a distinctive wellness experience inspired by the winemaking traditions of Piedmont.
Wine therapy is available by advance reservation, usually for couples, and includes a glass of wine to enjoy during the treatment.
